Have been using Metadent for quite awhile. Usually get it at SAMS CLUB, but like a lot of my staples, they stopped carrying it. Waited forever for them to restock but it never happened. Once you switch to this dispenser type you will never go back. Decided to check Amazon as I get my tea and marmite from them. Sure enough they had Metadent. Too many choices of product but finally figured out which one I was using. Bad point is the boxes do not come with the holder. Managed to find a spare holder from past supply so am now happy.

Do not know why Metadent is hard to find these days. As mentioned by the other reviewer, it does not come with the holder. I saved a couple of holders from the past supply. Very good product and deal, especially if you use the subscription option to save extra.

I discovered Mentadent when it first came on the market years ago. In the last year it has become harder and harder to find in retail stores, until it disappeared altogether. I have tried many kinds of toothpaste in the last year, trying to find one that would equal Mentadent-but not a one came close to it. Then HURRAY, I found it on Amazon. Thank you Amazon!!!

Yes! I am a member of the Mentadent Cult! Once you've tried it there's no going back to the messy tubes! The toothpaste is tasty, there is virtually no mess and the best part... no tube to squeeze or tube squeezing etiquette to adhere to with your spouse. He squeezes from the bottom, I from the middle. With Mentadent... just one downward push! I say goodbye to misshapen toothpaste tubes and missing caps! Unfortunately, it is not on the shelves of my supermarket or local drugstore. Thank God for Amazon and the door to door delivery!
