Product Description Family model dental water jet, standard cleaning tips, tongue cleaners, frosted reservoir level gauge. Recommended by dental professionals, the family oral irrigator effectively fights gingivitis by cleaning where brushing and flossing can't reach. Pulsating jets of water - 1,200 per minute - reach and deep clean between teeth and under the gum line to reduce harmful bacteria. Can be used with water, mouthwash or any anti-bacterial rinse, and is safe for use with braces, crowns or bridgework. There's a button to control pressure, increasing or decreasing depending on the person, and a button to pause water flow. Comes with four color-coded jet tips so each person knows which one is his or hers, perfect for the entire family. Also included is a tongue cleaner to freshen breath.

The Real Deal Here! June 17, 2004 Ali Hasan (Eagle County, Colorado) 43 out of 46 found this review helpful
I LOVE THE WATER PICK!!!Out of all the Water Pick's out there, I'm inclined to say that this is the best one! The water basin is HUGE, allowing most people to clean their entire set of teeth, without having to refill (which is truly a painful interruption, once when is within the ZONE of Water-Picking) The jet streams also very greatly in intensity, allowing one to tone done water streams that are too uncomfortable Cleaning and traveling is also a cinch! I wish it came with a travel bag, but no worries --- excellent product all around! I recommend it highly over dental floss, as well Thank you for reading and thank you for your time

I've been using the Waterpik Model WP-70W for many, many years and it has been extremely effective in keeping my periodontal disease in check.
The one I've just ordered will be my third or fourth, but they have all worked fine for at least three years each.
Furthermore, of the two things that can go wrong with it, local replacement of the handle is only $19.98 and replacement of the pump is $30.00. Replacement of the whole unit is more cost effective than pump replacement.

Top Quality Unit! November 9, 2007 J. Knieling (Las Vegas, NV USA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is my 2nd unit of this same kind. My first units lasted about 3yrs until the end piece came off at the connection. The motor still worked I just could not re-connect it. This unit is the most powerful on the market. It blows off plaque like no other and it is the most powerful model available. I checked their motor specifications on their website. If you want the most cleaning power this is it. If you have bridges or braces you will want to buy the rubber tipped bridge adapters. The older ones from my same family model worked perfectly. They last a really long time and do the best job--buy one! The others don't have as much power and don't blow out as well under bridges and through braces. This is the one! Buy it! It is a little noisy, but you need raw power to blow out food particles. The hand held self-contained units don't cut it! *****
Improved! May 15, 2007 L. Edwards (Pennsylvania) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I have used WaterPik Dental Water Jets for many years. Finally, the WP-70 seems to be improved. On my most recent purchase, the handle head turns smoothly so the cord doesn't twist and after being used, the water drains out of the cord more completely.
