As an adult wearing orthodontic appliance I have to say that the Ortho head's are a Godsend. The pencil tip is wonderful at removing trapped food from behind my braces. It is also particularly good at cleaning small pockets behind my rear molars. I rarely catch the bristles of the large head on my brackets making brushing comfortable. For me it's the way to go.

My son has braces and I bought this product with him in mind. The normal Oral B heads weren't cleaning his teeth as well as these do. My son's Orthodontist told me about the product.

I don't really feel that it is particularly useful for braces. Maybe it does, but I just don't feel I really need this in retrospect. I think the regular ones will do just fine
